Lornebank Care Centre in Hamilton had a fundraising coffee morning on Friday 9th October.
This was to raise funds for residents entertainment, Halloween and Christmas parties etc.
There was homebaking and teas and coffees.
This was a successful morning and it was nice to welcome ladies from the sheltered housing and also the surrounding area.
We were delighted that Margaret Ferrier MP accepted our invitation and came along.
She chatted to everyone and played tombola and bought raffles. She also accepted a cheque on behalf of Alzheimer’s Scotland for £100.
This amount was raised by staff at the summer fetes sponsored bounce.
Our coffee morning raised £150, this was a great total, thanks to everyone who attended.
