Commemoration and Celebration

Earlier this month, we held a tea party in our cafe area in commemoration of VE Day. The residents were presented with a vast spread of food and drink, whilst Jim Robertson performed wartime favourites and, as always, we could not resist joining in!

We were also absolutely delighted to hold Lornebank’s Got Talent a couple of weeks ago. The sun was shining and there were beaming smiles all round. Kirk James kindly presented the show, in which 6 contestants participated. Congratulations to Frank Smith from our Clydesdale unit for coming in first place, shortly followed by runners up Betty McGowan from our Peacock unit and Kathleen Mathers from our Livingstone unit. It was great fun and everyone had a a fantastic time!
