A busy month at Lornebank

Our residents have certainly been busy over the past few weeks!

– Much loved Jim Robertson came to perform for us once again. He always manages to get everyone to join in and sing their favourite songs.

– We threw a leaving party for our wonderful carer Karen Mackenzie. She has worked at Lornebank Care Centre for 21 years and will be sorely missed by all of our staff and residents.

– Resident Charles took charge of planting seeds in our vegetable garden’s new raised beds. He has done an incredible job and we look forward to monitoring the progress in the coming weeks!

– We hosted our 4th annual Highland Games event. The sun was shining and we were ecstatic to be able to hold the event in our new garden. All our residents participated and had a fantastic day. Congratulations to the Peacock Unit for coming in first place, closely followed by the Willowbank Unit, and to the Clydesdale Unit for winning best team logo.

The fun really never stops!
