Amidst increased risks posed by coronavirus, we are committed to ensuring that we continue to deliver the highest quality of care for our residents in a safe and sterile environment.
Harbour Residential has put into place an alternative option for families to keep in touch with their relatives. Resident John Robbins spoke to his daughter Jane Kern via WhatsApp video call!
We have also set up Skype accounts which families can access anytime between 9am and 5pm through the following emails:
If you have any questions about how to set up an account or encounter any issues, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will be happy to help support you in any way that we can.
Recently, one of our committed carers, Jade, gave an explanation to our residents on COVID-19 and how to keep safe. She used the NHS guide as her basis, which covered signs and symptoms, hand washing and isolation. The residents felt really well informed and were given a further insight into why their relatives could not visit at this time.
One of our resident’s family members sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates to all our staff in appreciation of the wonderful work they are doing during this difficult time. A huge thank you for the kind gifts and we will continue to do all that we can to support our residents and their relatives.
