Lornebank Care Centre
Lornebank Care Centre is a purpose-built care centre, situated at Peacock Cross in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, just beside Hamilton West Train Station and minutes from the bustling Hamilton, town centre.
We all welcome you, your family and friends to the care centre and we hope that you settle well into your new home. Our home has 41 beds over two floors comprising Nursing, Residential, Respite and Dementia care.
The building is easily accessible in all areas, allowing plenty of options for residents to find company or a quiet corner depending on their wishes.

The dining rooms are open plan with the living room areas. Our menus are displayed at the front door and on chalk menu boards in every dining room, changed daily with menus reflecting your individual needs and preferences. We have a fully qualified chef who is able to provide for any specialist dietary requirements.
Food and drinks are available on all floors at all times during the day or night. Facilities are also provided so that relatives can make themselves a cup of tea/coffee. Residents are able to enjoy meals in the dining rooms or in the privacy of their own room.
Lounge and sitting rooms
Lornebank Care Centre has 3 lounges, they are light and spacious and are tastefully decorated with coordinating lounge chairs and soft furnishings.
Televisions, DVD players and audio equipment are fitted in each lounge and service users and their families are free to relax in these areas.
In Lornebank we have an extensive Activities programme with daily organised activities morning and afternoons with which to choose from, also guest singers are organised to entertain us every month.
Gardens and outside areas
Lornebank Care Centre is surrounded by gardens which residents and guests are encouraged to use. We have a beautiful private seating area just outside Livingstone lounge.
The outside areas can be accessed via the reception area on the ground floor and through the patio doors in the Livingstone lounge.

We chose the right nursing home when we were looking for one for our mum.
We would like to give a special mention to nurses and staff past and present in Clydesdale unit where our mum was a resident, as they did an excellent job.
The family would like to thank all staff for the wonderful care, love and affection shown to her in the 3 ½ years she was in Lornebank.
Our gratitude to everyone who looked after our mother at any point during her 14 ½ year stay. Our special thanks to those who were closest to her, especially towards the end. Best wishes to you all.
Thank you for the good quality of care and attention you gave to our Mother Elizabeth during her stay at Lornebank. The last few months were difficult for us all and we appreciate the support and kind words given to us by all the staff while we were visiting her.
